Michael Steinberger is the lowest of the low. He stole money from me, and continues to this day to steal money from innocent people. A group of us booked our dream vacation to Peru, and it was a disaster from the minute we arrived in Lima. There was supposed to be transportation for us which never arrived, none of our hotels were reserved for us, and our flight to Iquitos was never paid for and Michael gave us all bogus flight numbers in advance. Michael, when you read this, and I know you will, I hope you get cancer and die a slow, miserable death.

My client never received a refund for services not delivered

While most of the custom tour was excellent, there were two days where services were not delivered, one because of weather and two because of a mechanical breakdown of the vehicle. My client traveled last summer, 2014 and was promised by Michael a refund and to date one year later, this was not done. I have had endless communications with him so he had plenty of opportunity to do so. Also, he owes me $200 balance on a commission for another tour and this is still outstanding from last fall. It is a unfortunate because he does provide a good experience on the tour but I have lost a client because of this situation so I will not use his services ever again and I cannot recommend him to anyone else. I should have taken note of the other complaints but he did receive a good reference from a reliable source. Perhaps, that person was a more important client. My client spent over $80,000 for this trip!!!

Failed Trip, the Owner Michael Steinberger is a THIEF

I booked a trip to Peru through Latin Tour Dimensions, I dealt directly with Michael Steinberger. He reassured me several times that everything was taken care of, even though I hadn't received my flight numbers for the numerous flights I was taking on this trip, all within Peru. Finally I received my confirmation numbers, but all in an email and didn't look authentic. Sure enough, when it came time for these flights once I was to leave Lima and head to Iquitos, the confirmation numbers that were given to me were all fake. Michael will not respond to any of my phone calls or emails. Ihad to come out of pocket for $1,418.23 which I have yet to be reimbursed for, 6 MONTHS LATER. Do NOT use this company, this guy is a fraud!!!!!!

I am still waiting my 3000 USD Commission since 2012...

My clients went on the vacation- he charged the CC of the clients and was supposed to pay me my comm $2845.00 I am still waiting.. He has not kept his word and he has done the same to a lot of agents.. And clients.. Who can help me????Travel agent survive with the commission they make from the suppliers, Hotels, airlines, and operations like Michael Steinberg.. Who said he filed bankruptcy???How will I recover???I wrote to Chamber of Commerce FL, I wrote to BBB , I called Tallahassee... I read a lot of compliments as well???which is correct???

I BOOKED A TRIP WITH MICHAEL FOR MY CLIENTS FOR A SOUTH AMERICAN TRIP IN 2012 FOR 2013 VACATION....ALL PAYMENTS MADE , HAD TO CONTINOUSLY ASK MICHAEL FOR UPDATES ON FLIGHTS AND HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS AND HE WOULD ALWAYS HESITATE WHICH MADE ME LEARY AS TO WHAT WAS GOING ON. THE SAME WORDS WERE MIMICKED....I'LL TAKE CARE OF IT, CALL YOU ON MONDAY, LEAVING EARLY IT'S FRIDAY.....AND SO ON AND SO ON. NO OTHER TOUR OPERATOR WORKS IN THIS UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER. Company is not licensed in Florida

Latin Tour Dimensions license to sell travel in Florida expired in 2010 with many unresolved complaints. Michael Steinberger still operates with a new address and indicates he is licensed on his Web site. Here is the record from the State of Florida: LATIN TOUR DIMENSIONS CORP 2440 NE MIAMI GARDENS DR STE 107, MIAMI, FL 33180-**** Phone 305-931-**** Complaints 7 Print License Type License# Issued Expires Status Seller of Travel ST363** **/04/05 10/04/10 Closed - out of business Latest judgments are 2013 and 2014 and Mr. Steinberger declared bankruptcy last March so it is unlikely he will pay any judgments.

LTD Never Paid Resorts - Owed $6,375

I am removing this complaint. LTD has acted in a professional manner and made me whole. I am working again with this company and have great respect for Michael Steinberger and his company.

I booked travel for clients through Latin Tour Dimensions (LTD) and paid Latin Tour Dimensions in full 3 months before clients' trip to Belize. 30 days before trip I started to ask for the travel documents and up to 3 days before departure date, LTD i.e. Michael Steinberger, was still making excuses for not delivering them. I called the resorts directly and learned that LTD made the reservations but never paid the resorts, Michael Steinberger kept the money. He told me to give the resorts my credit card information to pay for my clients' trip and he would pay me back. I had to pay the resorts so my clients wouldn't lose their money. Steinberger said he would pay me back the $6,375, but hasn't yet.

Latin Tour Dimensions took $5,000 from us and did not book our trip.

Our travel agent hired Latin Tour Dimensions for our honeymoon in Peru. We gave them $5,000 and received an itinerary from LTD. When we arrived in Lima, none of our reservations were booked. (we also do not speak spanish) We were paying out of pocket, moved to several hotels, and caught in a stand-off between MICHAEL STEINBERGER and the tour company he owed $30k to!!! When we reached out to Mr. Steinberger to let him know that he had STOLEN money from us, ruined our honeymoon, and asked how he planned to fix it, he asked "how did you get my phone number?" Michael Steinberger is a thief and never gave us restitution for our losses. We can never get back the time that we missed (at least three days trying to rectify our travel issues and pay double). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DO NOT TRUST this man.

Refused to pay my commission

I am a travel agent in New Jersey, who unfortunately booked a trip for my clients, through Latin Tour Dimensions and its owner, Michael Steinberger, based in Miami Florida. He is totally dishonorable, unreliable, dishonest and a total scam artist. This man refuses to pay my travel agent commission which is approx. $950. I planned a 2 week tour for a couple to the Galapagos, Quito, Casco, and Machu Picchu. It was to start on Nov.29, 2011, with a cost of $5833.00 each. My first contact with Steinberger was in early August 2011. He asked for a $ 4000 deposit early on for air, boat deposit etc. which was sent to him. Balance was to be paid in middle October, but he charged their card in early Sept. We E-mailed and spoke about 10 times in setting up the trip. I kept asking for confirmations for air, cruise, and hotels. Was told they would be forthcoming. Finally about 2 weeks before trip had some itinerary. Two days before the trip, he called me and clients and tried to get them to postpone their trip for a few days. Claiming glitches, but not where they were. We were all upset as money was paid a long time ago. We let him know that it was not possible. Then the day before the flight he asked them not to go to the airport until they heard from him, more glitches. The day of the flight was terrible because we were waiting for his OK. Finally about 4 hours before the flight he called and said all was, "TAKEN CARE OF". The clients E-mailed me the next day, from Quito. He had not paid their hotel nor their first tour guides. Client paid out of their pockets. Finally, upon coming home client found an additional charge for $ 6300, on his credit card. We do not know how this criminal thought he would get away with this. Legitimate companies pay commission within 15-45 days after client returns. It is now over 4 Months and he does not even acknowledge e-mail or phone calls. Please do some research and DO NOT USE THIS CRIMINAL for your trips!!!!!! Miller Travel

I'm still waiting for $8,000 commission from 9 years ago and he didn't book some of my clients' flights. They arrived to the airport only to hear they didn't have reservations and had to pay out of pocket for new tickets on the spot. It is a mystery to me why he's not in prison.

No refund or commission from Latin Tour Dimensions

It has now been nearly 6 years, and not only has LTD not refunded the $1,590.59 that was acknowledged via email as a error with his "booking agent" and assured repeatedly that the check was on its way, he also has not paid $8,055 in commission, which according to him, as of this week, is somehow my fault that I did not get paid, because I posted a negative review of his company, even though the review was written months after he proved himself incapable of keeping his word and was based on direct quotes from our email correspondence, not a figment of my imagination.

Again, as from my original review, the tour itself that he arranged was great. My clients had a great time.

However, he did not keep his word to refund $1,590.59 to my clients for the missing tickets, as he said repeatedly that he would. And, he did not pay commission to my agency, which he repeatedly said was on its way or would be taken care of soon.

He has not shown integrity or to be a man of his word.

It does not matter that he can arrange a nice tour. What it comes down to is that he can't be trusted, because he does not refund/reiumburse/pay large sums of money where he acknowledges that that money is due.

Michael Steinberger created a professional and thoughtful luxury tour for my clients. My clients' hotel, tour, and guide arrangements went very well, except when they checked in for their first in-country flight and found that 4 of their 9 family members did not have seats on the plane. Because of this problem, my clients had to spend an extra $1590.59 for tickets, but these tickets were already included in the total package price paid to Latin Tour Dimensions before they left. Mr. Steinberger acknowledged that the error occurred with his booking agent and he would be sending the refund for the airline tickets in the amount of $1590.59. He also told me that commission checks are issued 30 days after clients return. This would mean that a commission check should have been mailed on July 30, 2010. Since the beginning of July 2010, I have collected more than a hundred emails involving my requests for or information about refund and commission checks, and I always get the same answer, "in a few days, " or "by Monday at the latest," or "as soon as possible." He stated on August 26th, "I will commit to sending the refund no later than Monday no matter what. I will also send you commission info on Monday." I did not hear from him again until I emailed him on September 12th to say that I was going to report him to the BBB and Florida Seller of Travel. At that time, he still told me it would be taken care of "soon," and even told me he would come in over the weekend to "address the file." Still, I have nothing and, since November 2010, Mr. Steinberger has failed to respond to my emails and phone calls. The only response I've heard from him is via Florida Seller of Travel in which he states that he is still working with the agent to resolve the matter. I don't understand what his definition of "working with the agent" is, since I haven't heard from him in 4.5 months and I still don't have the refund or the large commission check.

14 months & still waiting for a refund

In April, 2009, three friends & I each had to pay $100 out of pocket for a Galapagos Entry Fee that should have been included in our tour arranged by Latin Tour Dimensions. I contacted Michael Steinberger, the owner of LTD, immediately upon our return to the states informing him of the problem. He assured me that we were indeed due a refund. It has been 14 months now, and we still haven't received a refund, even though he assured me in his latest e-mail that "checks had been issued June 1, 2010". I think this "customer service" is ridiculous and am sick of being lied to by Mr. Steinberger. DO NOT USE Latin Tour Dimensions for travel to Central & South America!
